Bann Valley Charity Tour This Sunday

Bann Valley Road Club (M Clarke &Sons contracts) will hold their annual charity run in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care this Sunday 26th August. The event and route will follow the format as last year with the sign on, start and finish at Portglenone Community Centre. The sign on fee is £8.00. The route will take riders, north along the east bank of the Bann to Coleraine, across to Portrush along the coast to Portstewart and back along the west
bank of the Bann via Coleraine and Kilrea to Portglenone. The main route is about 60 miles with a shorter option turning across the new bridge in Coleraine about 45 miles.

Refreshments will be supplied in the Centre at the end of the run. Changing and showering facilities are also available in the Centre. As last year's run was a record breaker with 100 riders taking part
and approximately £2,500 being raised it is hoped that this year will also be a memorable event in aid of this very worthwhile charity.

In the interests of safety all attending this event must wear a helmet and any junior riders must have a parent or guardian accompany them.
