Cycling Ulster Youth RR and TT Sessions Continue This Sunday.

The Cycling Ulster youth RR and TT training sessions will continue with another session this Sunday 11th Aug.   This session is open to both male and female riders who race in the U16 or U14 age categories.  There is no need for pre-entry, just come along on the day. The session will begin at 12:00 in the University of Ulster’s Jordanstown campus.

The session will begin with a skills session which will last for about an hour in which we will cover advanced cornering and sprinting, parents/guardians are asked to assist the coaches during the skills session.  Then we will go on a club run which parents/guardians can join in, we will aim to cover around 35 miles at an average speed of 17mph, but nobody will be left behind.

Showering, changing and toilet facilities will be available from 12:30 but as the session starts at 12:00  riders are advised to turn up prepared to ride.

There will be a sign-on fee of £2 for every youth rider, the car park is free at weekends but you will need to collect a ticket at the machine to get out again.
