Good Luck Martyn Irvine

Martyn Irvine's biggest moment in his cycling career to date takes place this weekend when he represents Ireland in the Omnium event at the Olympic Velodrome. The Newtownards native spent two years travelling across the globe in search of qualification points for London and has placed inside the top 10 in several World Cup events and the World Championships.

As well as his track pedigree, the Ulsterman was in form in this year's National time trial and road race championships just over a month ago when he took second and fourth places respectively. Cycling Ulster wish him all the best this weekend. His full schedule can be seen below.

4 August 10:30 Flying Lap 250m Time Trial

4 August 18:25 Elimination Race
5 August 10:00 4km Individual Pursuit
