05/06/2012 Jimmy Devlin 10 – Ballydonaghy

The weather cleared up just in time for Jimmy Devlin Time trial held on the Ballydonaghy course. The roads were still wet and the rear lights were a necessity but it all went off with only one hitch when Maryland’s Colin McElderry came off at the airport roundabout.  Well done to Thomas Martin on the win, Stuart Bennett on 2nd and winner of the  Jimmy Devlin trophy (again) and Rodney Stewart on third. Well done also to the only junior rider of the night Connor Young of Ballymena Chain Reaction who produced a very impressive time to record a new PB on a tough course.

Riders are reminded that red lights must be worn and working. They must also be visible from 100 metres. Some of the lights were not suitable and should be replaced.
