Ulster Cross-Country Mountain Bike Series - Round 1
This will take place on Sunday 15 April 2012 at Ballykelly Forest, Limavady (subject to Forestry approval) and will be hosted by Strabane/Lifford CC.   The course was last used back in 2000. There are 12 race categories in total for the Under 8s up to seniors.  Sign on opens at 9.30am.

Youth races start at 11.00 am, U14, U16 and some senior races start at 12:00. Main senior races start at 2.00pm. The senior course is around 3 miles in length.

Race Fees: Adults: £18 (€20) * Juniors: £9 (€10) Under 16s: £5 (€5) Under 14s & Under 12s: £4 (€4) Under 10s & Under 8s: £2 (€2) * NOTE: Fee only £15 if riders pre-register for the event. Pre-entry: From 4 April 2012 to 13 April 2012 (8 pm)

Catering: Food will be available after the races

Ballykelly forest is on the A2  main Derry to Limavady road. Car park is situated opposite Craig's Costcutter shop on the edge of the forest...look out for JOGGING TRAIL sign. Parking is limited in main car park but there ample space at shop across the road and at lay by on roadside. As this is a very busy road can users please use the subway which is situated just a few metres up the road as a precaution.

Mad Mac's 6 hour XC event - 6 May 2012

MadMac's 6 Hour XC is a classic endurance race designed for riders of all abilities. Soloists and pairs can test their endurance trying to complete as many laps as possible of the XC course within the six hour limit. Competitors will encounter unforgiving climbs and fast, flowing off-road descents which will be sure to get your adrenaline flowing!MadMac's 6 Hour XC will take place in the Gortin Glens Forest Park, Omagh, Tyrone, on the 6th May 2012. Come along with family and friends for a great day of riding at this friendly event.

The deadline for Early bird pre-entry closes on 11 April 2012 (£25 for soloists and £48 for pairs), after the 11th the fee rises to £30/ £58 with on-the-day fees of £35,/£68.
