2012 Membership Fees and AccessNI Information

The Cycling Ulster Membership fees are now available for download to facilitate clubs holding registration evenings. Club affiliation to Cycling Ireland is also now due and it is cheaper for clubs to affiliate before the end of December. Following the Cycling Ireland AGM last month an increase of €5 was applied to the 2011 fees for all Senior members.

For members joining clubs the 2012 feees are as follows.

Introductory (leisure) £13.00
Non-competition (leisure) €35.00 / £30.00
Club competition €70.00 / £60.00
Restricted competition €100 / £87.00
Full competition senior and veteran €135 / £118.00
Youth U10 (born 2002-now) £5.00
Youth U12, U14 £5.00
Full competition Youth U16 €35.00 / £30
Full competition Junior €50.00 / £44
Overseas Authorisation €20.00 / £18

For those in full time education there is a 50% reduction on all licences except the Introductory offer.

Safeguarding and AccessNI

It is also compulsory for clubs to appoint a Safeguarding/Child Protection Officer. This person will need to complete the AccessNI Vetting Form. It is also good practice for as many club members as possible to complete the application. Details of how to do so can be found below,

AccessNI Application Form

1. Go to http://www.ulstercyclingnews.com and click on the Download Section on the left hand side
2. Ypu will see the link to the Access Application form (second one down)
3. When you click on that you will be given a number of options
4. Chose Enhanced Form as all sports must use this.
5. You need to complete pages 2, 3 and 4.
6. Do not complete Section C on page 2.
7. You can complete the form online (Use Capital Letters) and then print it off.
8. You need to sign it and send it to Patrick McALeavey or me. (Contact details below)

We will fill in the other pages. There is no charge. Access is fairly quick and you should receive a certificate in about 4 weeks.

Patrick and I can also deliver Safeguarding to your club on request.
