Battle Heats Up In Dave Kane League

The battle is hotting up in the Cycling Ulster – Dave Kane Cycles Time Trial League with Lurgan teenager Thomas Martin winning tonight’s event at Glenavy by 5 seconds from current league leader and Clann Eireann-Linen Green team-mate John Heverin. Irish national Under 23 champion Paul Brady from Emyvale was third in a time of 21-46. The fastest junior over the 10 mile course was Jonny Cole from Team Madigan whose time of 22-14 was fast enough to give him 5th spot overall against all the Seniors.
With the league just passing the half way stage all is left to play for but it seems likely that the winner will come from the trio of Martin, Heverin and Brady.
