Noel Teggart Races Open for Entry

Pre-entry for the 2017 Noel Teggart Memorial opened on Tuesday 6th June via the Cycling Ireland web portal.  A total of 6 races will be on offer for what looks set to be a busy and exciting day of racing
in Banbridge. The flagship event for the day will cater for A1 & A2 riders covering a total distance of 130km over 7 laps of the well-known Banbridge/Gilford/Scarva circuit.  A separate race will be hosted to cater for the A3 and A3 Junior riders, using the same course but with a reduced distance of 110km  covering 6 laps.

The A4 race will cover 5 laps, giving them a race distance of 92km.

As usual Banbridge CC will also be hosting youth races as part of the promotion.  The Under 16 riders will face 3 laps of the circuit for a total distance of 55km, while the Under 14 race will cover a single lap to give them 17km of racing. The Under 12 race will face 8km of racing with a neutralised run out from the Event HQ in Banbidge Hockey Club.  Entries for the Youth races will be accepted on the day.

Banbridge CC have budgeted a very generous cash prize pot for all races, including a bumper £300 first prize for the A1/A2 race with prizes running down to the top 8 with prizes for the top 3 A2 riders also included.

Further details, including a race information handbook, will be made available in the coming days via the Banbridge CC website.
