McCann Cup This Sunday

This Sunday, 5th March a feast of racing awaits the large field of riders who have already signed up for the Omagh Wheelers flagship event, the McCann Cup. This year the renowned day of racing is generously sponsored by Ballymore Services Ltd, with a prize fund of over £1000 across the 5 races
being held.

All races will take place over the traditional 10 mile Seskinore circuit and the action kicks off with the Masters event at 11.00am, followed by the Women's event at 11.05am, both events being part of their respective Ulster leagues.

The A1/A2, A3 and A4 races (3 separate races) then take to the roads at 1pm. The A1/A2 race has a very strong field of over 50 riders (further places remain available). The A3 and A4 events are full with extensive waiting lists for both.

Confirmation of the logistics of each race are as follows:
Race 1 Masters / 50+ Sign-on: 10:00 - 10:45, Distance 3 Laps (30 Miles) Start Time 11:00am
Race 2 Women's Sign-on: 10:00 - 10:45, Distance 3 Laps (30 miles) Start Time 11:05am
Race 5 A1 / A2 Sign-on: 11:30 - 12:45, Distance 7 Laps (70 miles) Start Time 13:00pm
Race 3 A3 Sign-on: 11:30 - 12:45, Distance 6 Laps (60 miles) Start Time 13:05pm
Race 4 A4 Sign-on: 11:30 - 12:45, Distance 4 Laps (40 miles) Start Time13:10pm

On line entry (via Entry Central) for the A1/A2, Masters and Ladies events remains open to midnight Thursday.
