aLindsay Watson (Plushmtb) showed great form, ahead of this weekend's Beaumont Cup by taking the Kinning Cycles Hill climb. He was 10 seconds clear of runner up Glenn Kinning. Craig Rea (Phoenix CC) was just another 1 second back in 3rd place. Watson will take part in the prestigious Beaumont Cup as part of a strong Ulster Team. Other notable rides came from top Ulster MTB rider Graham Boyd (Xmtb McConvey Cycles) and Rónán Kernan (Castlereagh CC).

First junior on the night was Matthew Armstrong (Dromara CC) while first Under 16 was Jake Rushby (North Down CC) and first Under 14 was Dean Harvey (XMTB McConvey Cycles).

The damp conditions and football may have kept a few in doors but The Belgian Project’s David McVeigh was present to capture the action. Closer to the top we also had happy snapper Toby Watson getting in on the action also. Many thanks to both of htem for taking the time to come along. Thanks also to Glenn Kinning for organising the event.
