Super 6 TT Series Round 1 : Saturday 9th April
The first round of the 2016 Hayes Fuels Ernie Magwood Super 6 Time Trial Series takes place this Saturday on the Toome circuit. Click HERE for a map of the start location and also the course. Riders will require a minimum of a limited competition licence, and also a rear light. (Front light also advisable). All other TT rules apply. No warming up on the course after 10.00am, no passing timekeeper, no drafting or white lining. Please treat all riders, officials and volunteers with respect if you wish to return. Sign on is from 9.00am. First rider off at 10.00am. Riders will start in order of sign on but priority will be given to hand cyclists. There will be prizes for fastest overall, women, vets, juniors and hand cyclist.
Qualifying riders riding 5/6 events will be eligible for prizes in the following catergories.
Xmtb McConvey Cycles Spring Series : Final Round : Sunday 10th April 2016
Pre-registation has opened for the third and final round of the Xmtb McConvey Cycles Spring Series at Ormeau Park in Belfast. This event will take place on Sunday 10 April 2016. Prize giving for the series will take place at the end of all the races in the Ozone centre and there will be food on offer at the prize giving. The prize giving will also include a raffle, so come along and see what you can win. Riders get one raffle ticket for each round they have competed in. Pre-registration for Round 3 is now open.and will close this Friday, 8th Aprils at 8.00pm.

Sunday 10th April 2016: Bann Valley Classic
The Bann Valley Classic will take place on Sunday 10th April and is a pre-entry event. Currently the A3 and A4 races are full but there are still spaces in the A1/A2 event. Sign on from 12:30 at Clady Hall. Sign on closes 1:30pm with the racing starting at 2:00pm sharp. The Race HQ and sign on location is Clady Community Hall.
There will be 3 races on offer as follows
- A race (A1&A2) race distance 7 x 8 mile circuit - 56 miles.
- B race (A3 only) distance 6 x 8 mile circuit - 48 miles.
- C race (A4 only) distance 5 x 8 mile circuit - 40 miles
Sunday 10th April 2016 : Drumoghill School Charity Cycle
On Sunday, former Cycling Ulster Road Commission Chairman, Jason McHugh, is organising the Annual Cycle for Drumoghill School in Manorcunningham, Letterkenny Co Donegal Whether you are a racers, a social cyclist or a beginners you will all be made feel welcome and enjoy the day. The event is for a good cause and sign-on is from 9.00am at Drumoghill National School with the run starting at 9.30am. There will be refreshments following the event.
Sunday 10th April 2016: North East Coastal Cycle
On Sunday Carrickmacross CC will promote their popular, flat, scenic North East Coastal Cycle and there will be two routes to choose from: 90km and 45km. Registration will be in The Phoenix Centre, Carrickmacross from 8:30am and the tour will take to teh roads at 9.30am. The entry fee is €15 for 90km and €10 for 45km. Non Cycling Ireland members are required to take out a one day Licence for €2 (This can be done @ Sign on).The event is open to 15 year-olds & older.
There will be food stops on route and refreshments afterwards. Showers are available. Please Note: Helmets are mandatory.
