Ulster MTB XC Championships – Sunday 23 August – Colebrooke Estate

The 2015 Ulster Cross-country Mountain Bike Championships will take place at Colebrooke Estate in County Fermanagh on Sunday 23 August. Host club Lakeland CC held an event here at the start of the year and Caldwell Cycles also had their round of the Ulster XC Series here in April. As usual there will be races for all age categories, however the championship categories will be PRE-ENTRY ONLY.

Colebrooke Estate in Brookborough County Fermanagh is the home of the Brookborough family and is a vast 1,000 acre site which includes a spa, gym and accommodation where visitors can do 4x4 driving, fishing, deer stalking, clay pigeon shooting, archery and now mountain bike racing!!

Criteria for taking part:
This is an open event and riders from outside of Ulster are welcome to take part. The championship medals will only be awarded to Ulster riders but there will be prizes for non-Ulster riders getting onto the podium.

ELITE WOMEN
ESPOIR MEN (UNDER 23)
JUNIOR MEN (Those born 1997 or 1998)
M30 MEN
M40 MEN
M50 MEN (INCLUDING M60)
UNDER 16 (Those born 1999 or 2000)
UNDER 14 (Those born 2001 or 2002)
UNDER 12 (Those born 2003 or 2004)
UNDER 10 (Those born 2005 or 2006) (NON-CHAMPIONSHIP RACE)
UNDER 8 (Those born 2007, 2008, 2009 etc) (NON-CHAMPIONSHIP RACE)
UNDER 6 (a 'fun' race for riders who can't complete an Under 8s course)
SENIOR 4 MEN (NON-CHAMPIONSHIP RACE)
SENIOR 3 WOMEN (NON-CHAMPIONSHIP RACE)

09:30 - Sign on opens - sign on closes 15 minutes before the start of each race

10:30 - Under 6 Fun
10:45 - Under 8
11:00 - Under 10
11:30 - Under 12

12:10 - Presentations for youth races

12:00 - Under 16
12:01 - Under 14
12:07 - S4 mens - non-championship race
12:08 - S3 women - non-championship race

13:40 - Presentations

14:00 - Elite Men + Espoirs (Under 23s)
14:01 - Junior
14:01 - Elite Women
