Final call for Ulster 10 mile TT Championship entry

Pre-Entry for the Ulster 10 mile Time Trial Championship on Sunday 19th July will close this Wednesday 15th July. This is a strictly pre-entry event and registration is via the Events Booking section on the Cycling Ireland website.

Simply login to your account and use the events button to enter. A limited competition licence is the minimum required.

Promoted by Donegal Bay CC the event will take place on the N15 course at Barnesmore, South Donegal and will be a slightly modified version of the regular Donegal Bay TT circuit which is a straight out and back course.

Riders will be setting off from within the shadow of the famous Barnesmore Gap and heading straight in toward Donegal Town before turning at the Drumlonagher Roundabout and heading back out again.

Sign-on will be at Barnesmore Community Centre which is just off the main N15 at the start of the TT. Sign-on will be open from 10am-11.30am with first rider off @12pm.

Showers and refreshments will be available at the Community Centre afterward.

Medals will be awarded in the following categories
Elite Men
Junior Men
Junior Women
Senior Women
Veteran Women (40 +)
Master's 40 (M40 licence holders or LC licence holders born between 1975 and 1966)
Master's 50 (M50 licence holders or LC licence holders born between 1965 and 1956)
Master's 60 (M60 licence holders or LC licence holders after 1955)
Paracycling (All single rider categories - one winner)

Please Note - All riders must wear club kit or a plain skinsuit . Trade, Provincial or National Skin suits are not permitted.

Team Medals will be awarded in male and female categories. This will be decided on the aggregate times of the first three riders in any club crossing the line. To be eligible for team prizes all riders must wear club kit.

The Martin Birney SportActive Trophies will also be awarded to the winner of the Elite Men, Senior and Veteran Women, Masters 40, Junior Male and Handcycling.
