Murray Wins In Manchester

Following on the back of last year's track performances, Michael Murray of Clann Eireann, recorded the first indoor track win of his career when he rode away from the field to win a round of the Manchester Regional Track league on a recent visit to the track with the National squad.
Michael finished 15th in the Junior Track World’s last year and due to his performances both at the Worlds and the Europeans, Michael received an invite to train at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland.
Michael is now a 1st year senior and is carded under the Cycling Ireland track scheme. He is currently riding road races in Ireland before heading to Belgium where his road racing will be interspersed with track racing/training building up for the U23 European Track Champs this summer in Athens, Greece. Well done Michael and Cycling Ulster wish him the best of luck for the summer!
