2015 Ulster Leisure Calendar Now Available

The provisional 2015 Ulster Leisure calendar is now available for download. The calendar is very full with lots of different events around the country including off road leisure events.

The road events vary from tough sportives such as the Around Down Audax and the Inisowen 100 to easier events such as the PIPS Charity Ride which has routes suitable for families.

This year there are a number of clubs promoting events specifically for women such as Omagh's Heels on Wheels, Dunloy's DCC Ladies Cycle Event and Errigal's Women's Strawberry Run.

Dunloy CC are also promoting a number of leisure events for Youth Riders such a their Kids Fun Run and their Kids Fun Day. Maryland Wheelers are promoting an event for blind and partially sighted riders wiith their 'It Takes Two to Tandem' Event.

Please check the calendar and let us know if there are any mistakes or omissions. There are also a number of events where the primary contact does not have an email address. If a phone number is more appropriate for this person please let us know and we will update the calendar. Send this information to Anthony Mitchell on sportsprint.mitch@btinternet.com and cc marianlamb@ulstercyclingnews.com so that I can update the online calendar.

Many thanks to Anthony Mitchell for collating the calendar for 2015.

We would also like to thank all the clubs for their prompt action in getting their events in so quickly.

You can download the calendar HERE or via the Calendar link on the righthand side of the main page.

  1. It would have been good if the distances of the Sportives were included + an indication of how hard it would be to complete them
