The event starts in Bellaghy and there are four routes on offer to suit every level of cyclist.

The main route is 50 miles with several optional escape routes suitable for novices and youth. There are options for a 20 mile, 40 mile and 47 mile course. Most of the routes are flat except for the 50 mileroute which takes in the climb of Matty's Brae.

The October Soup Cycle is a fundraiser for The Belgian Project which sends a selection of our Juniors to Belgium each summer to compete with the best in Europe.

Don't forget there is a bag of Rooster potatoes for the members of the best turned out club donated by Carl Fullerton of Donegal Harvest Potaoes. In 2013 the spuds were won by Orchard Shelbourne who despite the rain were far and away the best dressed outfit.
