Weekend Leisure Tours

There are a number of leisure events on this coming Sunday around Ulster. I have listed details below of those about which I have information. Unfortunately the Emyvale Tour of Monaghan down for Sunday has had to be cancelled.

Sunday 28th September - The Hooley Round Cooley
The Hooley Round Cooley, promoted by BC Camlough  is now in its 2nd year. 100+ cyclists enjoyed the course last year. Registration opens at 9am at Craobh Rua Hurling Club Mill Hill High Street Bessbrook ( close to Bessbrook Community Centre ) and once you register  you can enjoy a tea, coffee and biscuits before the official start at 10am.

The run heads into Newry along the Quays Shopping Centre towards Omeath and Carlingford, turning right along the main road towards Dundalk. Then  turning right at Fitzpatrick’s along the Ravensdale where there will be a pit stop at the Lumbers Pub.

Back on the bikes cycling through the Ravensdale towards Flurrrybridge., then Meigh village towards Camlough where all turn towards the Green Rd and back to the club house for chicken curry and rice. Not a bad day considering you get all of this for £10.
