Youth Racing at the Dervock Festival

This Saturday 19 July Ballymoney Cycling Club is hosting a series of youth races for Under 12, 14 and 16 year olds at the Dervock Festival. All the age groups will race on the 5 mile "Lion Park Circuit". The Under 16 Race is for the "Oliver Kane Perpetual Cup" and was won last year by Aaron Swan now with the Nicholas Roche Team and is currently at the 2014 Junior Tour of Ireland. The Under 14 race is for the "Hot Cha Perpetual Shield" and the Under 12 races will be awarded a trophy and medals.

The Under 16s race will be 7 laps of the 5 mile circuit - 35 miles (56 km),
The Under 14s race will be 3 laps, 15 miles (24 km)
The Under 12s race will be 1 lap 5 miles (8 km)

The entry fee is £3 and sign on will take place at the NEW Dervock Community Centre from 12.30 pm.
Racing starts at 2 pm (As soon as the Festival's half marathon and 10km run finishes)

Dervock is 6 km north east of Ballymoney.
