Devenney Takes over as Technical Officer

Cycling Ulster's long standing and hardworking Technical Officer, Martin Lees,  tendered his resignation last week after giving eight years of dedicated service. His work in providing commissaires for all our events was excellent and many a club was delighted with the advice he provided before an event even took place. Not only that but he collated al the Commissaire reports and liaised with the College of Commissaires and helped organise Comm Courses.

Each year Martin collated all the championship and series winner and arranged medal engraving etc for our annual award dinners. This is no mean feat as Ulster run more Championships and series than other province. The members of the Cycling Ulster Executive would like to thank Martin for all his hard work and dedication over the years and wish him an enjoyable retirement.

In the interim period well known motorbike Comm Paul Devenney has agreed to take over appointing commissaires for the remainder of the year. Event Promoters should contact Paul on devenneyandson@yahoo.co.uk if they are seeking advice or wish to know tho their comm is.
