Taggart and Short win at Groucho GP

Orchard Cycling Club hosted the Groucho GP on Saturday 21 June 2014 with two races on the cards. The A2/A3 event and the A4 event. Both groups used the Richhill, Hamiltonsbawn, Marlacoo, Richhill circuit with the A2/A3 riders completing 8 laps and the A4 riders 6 laps. Groucho's Bar in the Square in Richhill was the headquarters for the event. Both races followed the same pattern with numerous riders trying to get away as the laps unfolded but in the end both came down to tough uphill sprints with Matthew Taggart just pipping Cathal Clarke on the line to take the win in the A2/A3 race.
