Reminder – Safeguarding Course Tonight – Monaghan

Cycling Ulster is running a Safeguarding Awareness Course (Child Protection) tonight, Monday 24th February,  in the Four Seasons Hotel in Monaghan

The course  begins at 7.30pm and lasts approximately three hours with a break at the halfway stage. The course will be delivered by Patrick McAleavey and Marian Lamb who are trained SportNI/NSPCC Tutors..

All club Safeguarding Officers must complete this course before going on to do the Designated Officer Course which is normally delivered by the Local Authorities through SportNI.

All those clubs involved in the development of youth cycling need to ensure that all their Youth Leaders and coaches attend this course. It is also mandatory for all coaches and Sprocket Rocket/Gearing Up leaders.

This coure has been requested by Emyvale CC and there are still a number of places available on this course. Please come along and join us in Safeguarding Young People in Sport.
