Please Read – More Pre-Entry Events

The Decathlon-B'twin  Classic Tour of Ards 2014 Open for Entry
The Decathlon-B'twin  Classic Tour of Ards 2014  takes place on Saturday 22 March 11am. There will be a  rolling start from St Patrick’s hall behind the chapel (North Street )in Newtownards.

Sign will be open from 9.30 am till 10.45am. Due to the added sponsorship of Decathlon Belfast Ards CC will have a prize fund of £750 with the winner taking home £175 .This will attract a lot of good riders, and it is a good race to prepare for the Des Hanlon  the day after.

The course is over 70 miles this year (109 km ) Ards will only accept entries by post, fully  filled in, with licence details. A cheque or postal order payable to Ards CC must be enclosed or the application cannot be accepted. If you have no licence number do not enter as you will not be accepted and your money will be returned. A reserve list will be in operation  when the full field (80 ) is reached The closing date for entries is 15th march. There will be no refunds for not starters except to reserves who didn't get a ride at the day.  You can follow updates on this forum  www.facebook.com/ardscc or www.ardscc.co.uk .

Ards CC is again grateful to the PSNI for their assistance to the race with motorbikes, command car and static officers, and St John’s Ambulance for their continued support to our classic race. We are also grateful for the co-operation of the Ards Borough Council and local firms.

John Moore Memorial Open for Entry
The John Moore Memorial Promoted by Castelreag CC is no open for pre-entry. The race takes place on Saturday 8th March 2014 at 10.00am. Sign-on and changing at Lough Moss Centre, Carryduff.

There wil be two races with the A race for A1-A3 approximately 80km while the B race for A4 riders will be rin over the same corse and will be about 65km.

The route will be the sames as last year based around the Carr road which is out the Hillsborough Road. Race start/finish will be on the Carr road with the A1/2/3 race starting at 10.00am and the A4 at 10.05am.

Entries will be selected on a merit basis if necessary, preference may be given to previous participants, but we hope to accommodate all entrants. Promoter’s decision is final.

Big Italian Bike Ride Sunday 4th May
Big Italian Bike Ride will start from Odyssey and entries are now live on www.myraceentries.co.uk with over 300 riders already entered since.

The event will offer three routes with the main route or Gran Fondo taking the same route as the Giro d'Italia will take the following week.

Tour of Ulster Open For Entries on Wednesday 19th
The 2014 Tour of Ulster will be open for entries on Wednesday 19th February at 8pm sharp and is online registration only using the following link: www.entrycentral.com
