Ulster Youth Team Hadleigh Farm MTB Announced

Cycling Ulster is sending a boy's and a girl's team to the MTB interregional competition in Hadleigh farm, the Olympic MTB venue in London, on the 3rd to the 6th of October.

Riders who were interested in representing Ulster at this event were invited to attend a trial day on the 7th of September which reflected the format of the interregional event in London.

As expected the competition for places on the team was intense with the wide selection of talented riders we have in Ulster.  The selectors had a very difficult time in selecting the riders but the final teams are as follows.

Girls' team.

Shannon Buller.

Shenna McKiverigan.

Boys' team.

James Curry.

Cameron McIntyre.

John Buller.

Richard Baird.

Reserve: Calvin Moore.

Congratulations to all those selected and commiserations to those who didn't make it this time.  The selectors commented that there were many talented riders at the trial day, particularly many  younger riders who are sure to serve Ulster well in the coming years.
