Ulster Women for Bedford

Cycling Ulster will be well represented in the Bedford International Stage Race this weekend. Jemma Donaghy (Phoenix CC) and Ann Paul (East Tyrone)Ireland will be competing in the Ulster colours while Trudy Brown (Northern/Dave Kane) and Mary Boyd (Roe Valley/Team Letchworth)have been selected on to the Ireland squad. Team Ireland will be represented by a six-strong Women’s Team at the 3 Days of Bedford International Stage Race 29th May – 31st May. The selected riders are Colette Swift (team captain), Siobhán Dervan, Trudy Brown, Karen Bothwell, Mary Boyd and Róisín Kennedy. The five stage race also has teams entered from Holland, France, Malta, Wales, England and Northern Ireland. This is the second time this year that a Cycling Ireland – Hibernian Insurance team has been entered into the Women’s Team Race Series. Cycling Ulster would like to wish all the Irish Women the best of luck.
