The Ever Popular Freewheelers Tour of Lough Neagh This Saturday.

The annual  Freewheelers charity cycle tour / wheelchair push  organised by the Ulster Hand Cycling Association will take place on Saturday 3rd August 2013. This will be the 23rd year of this popular event.

Participants should assemble at the Antrim Forum Peace Carpark between 9.00am -9.30am, and report to the 'event registration desk' in order to receive an official participation number. This number will entitle persons to the refreshments which will be available on route.  A minimum donation of £10 will be accepted at the desk by those wishing to take part but do not possess a sponsor form. All participants must be over 18 years of age and wear a safety cycle helmet during the event.

Certificates will be available at the finish in Antrim to all who complete this touring event.
All proceeds will be used to further develop sport for the disabled in Northern Ireland including wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, hand cycling and track chair racing.

Service vehicles sponsored by JBE Building Services Ltd.(Ballymena) and Alan Mccomb Joinery (Dundrod), will be available throughout the day to all who participate.

May we draw your attention to the fact that everyone who participates in the event, do so at their own risk and the organisers will not be liable for any personal or public injuries or damage sustained during the event. Individual cyclists are advised to ensure that they have adequate insurance.
