Thomas Martin Wins Wallace Caldwell Memorial.

tommymartin On Saturday Ballymena Road Club hosted one of Ulster's classic road races, the Wallace Caldwell Memorial road race. This event is usually run off in March but was postponed this year due to the snow.

Thomas Martin of Eurocycles took the win ahead of strongman Bryan McCrystal of Cuchullainn CC. Martin's team-mate Conor Murphy took third place.

As usual Ballymena Road Club pulled out all the stops to make this a successful event and there was plenty of refreshments following the race.

This event receives support from the PSNI motorbike outriders and a control vehicle. Without this continued support from the PSNI such Classic Races would cease to exist. Cycling Ulster would like to extend its gratitude to the PSNI this support.
