Omagh Stage 2 – Moore Takes Stage, O’Neill Takes Yellow. Woman’s Race – McFarland Takes Stage and Jersey.

Tour of Omagh posterDarnell Moore of Caldwell Cycles Omagh took the second stage of the Tour of Omagh in another bunch sprint today while John O'Neill's second place saw the Omagh Wheelers man take the yellow jersey.  However with 51 riders all on the same time on GO the time trial tomorrow morining could live up to it's billing of the race of truth for the eventual winner.

In the woman's race Ann McFarland of East Tyrone took the stage from overnight yellow jersey Jude Russell of Phoenix.  This was enough for McFarland to take the yellow from Russell but again there are three riders on the same time on GC and so the TT tomorrow morning will be the big test.

In the men's race the sprint clasifacation is still lead by Michael Finn of Barrow Wheelers, the KOH clasifacation is still lead by today's stage winner Darnell Moore.  Moore also lead the combativity classifacation overnight and after today's stage  he has been joined at the top of the rankings on six points by Tomas Duffy of Team Lucan.

Tomorrow holds to stages for the riders, a very important TT in the morning and another road stage in the afternoon, stay tuned for details.
