Stars from County Down.

Image1Shimna Wheelers stood proud on the Peace Bridge in Derry on Sunday (30th June 2013).   The Mayor of Derry City, Cllr Martin Reilly, extended a hearty welcome to club members who cycled from the bridge in Newcastle to the Peace Bridge in Derry.   100 miles trip, plenty of fun, chat and hard work.  A Down District Council plaque was presented to the Mayor and the in return a Derry City Council plaque was given to the club.  Following the hospitality some members even braved the return trip to Newcastle resulting in a round trip of 200 miles.  A massive thanks and congratulations to all club members who took part and to Eugene & Sharon Carville for their invaluable contribution.
