Kilbride CC Continue Charity Work

Some members of Kilbride Cyclists recently handed over a cheque for £5600 to Nigel and Anna Taylor, parent's of Connie Taylor. This money was raised during their annual charity cycle on 6th May 2012 and their Mizen head to Malin head challenge undertaken over the Jubilee weekend this year of which 15 members rode the 364 miles in 4 days. A total of £5600 was presented to Nigel and Anna on behalf of "Connie's Cause" a charity set up to help give something back to the 3 main organisations who have helped Connie get where she is today, namley The Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast (Helping Hands) Northern Ireland Children's Hospice and Birmingham Children's Hospital. Anna and Nigel expressed their deep appreciation to all the members of Kilbride Cyclist's and Kilbride Presbyterian Church who put in a lot of effort in raising the money for the Cause.

Thanks has to go also to "AES Ballylumford" for their very generous donation to the fund.
