Marc ‘Potts’ the Prize at CicliSport
The hardworking crew at East Tyrone outdid themselves today as they put on a full day of racing for almost all categories. First into the fray were the U14’s and U16 riders. Both races went from the gun. In the U14 event Jake Gray went into the lead in the first 500 metres of racing and was never caught over the 30km race. He won the race easily coming in ahead of the main field by a good three minutes. Conor Boyle of Island Wheelers took second with Conor McLoughlin of Newry in third position.… Read more

David McCall Foundation Youth RT a Major Success
Not often stuck for words or jotting down a few lines, I am finding it difficult to describe how overwhelmed the David McCall Foundation committee was with the support it received at Saturdays Youth Reliability from these young riders and their parents.
With it being the St Patrick's day weekend we were a little apprehensive about the lack of numbers which may finally sign on but we were not to be disappointed. The bright spring morning sunshine and a real willingness from the riders and parents to support this new event had 48 riders turn out.… Read more

In the short time lapse since the last Master's event at the Phoenix GP, such is the interest in the team competition that some of the competitors had got themselves organised and were able to field full teams for the event. Banbridge who had to be content with a sole rider last year came well prepared with four strong men while North Down, Phoenix CC and North Pole CC were well represented.… Read more

Boyce and O’Neill Take Wins in Phoenix GP
Almost fifty riders lined up this morning for the first of the 2012 Time Square Jewellers Gold Cup Masters events. Word had got out and many teams had been out doing specific training over the winter just for this event.
Open to Vets over 50 with a club competition or A4 licence, interest in competing has grown but North Down were determined from the outset to make their mark. And dominate they did. While the other riders fully expected to see strongman John Hunter make the first break it was in fact Noel Boyce and Noel Munnis of North Down who jumped in the early stages to open up a clear gap on the main field.… Read more
