Leisure Events Sunday 29th May 2016

There are five leisure tours on this coming Sunday. These are the Kings Moss Sportive in County Antrim, 3 County Challenge in County Monaghan, Termon Sportive in County Tyrone, Over the Qoile in Co Down and the RS Motors Charity Cycle also in Co Tyrone.

Kings Moss Sportive Sunday 29th May
Kings Moss will promote their annual Sportive on Sunday 29
th May. Supported by Chain Reaction Cycles the event will benefit local charity "Cancer Fund for Children". The route covers 100km over some very scenic roads and offers a challenge to both experienced cyclists and those who are newer to the sport. Read more

Kings Moss Sportive Now Open for Entry

Kings Moss Cycling Club invite riders of all abilities to a sportive challenge on Sunday 29th May 2016 on some of the best roads in County Antrim. Kindly supported by Chain Reaction Cycles, the Kings Moss Sportive will benefit local charity "Cancer Fund for Children". The 100 km event offers an enjoyable yet challenging ride for both experienced cyclists and those who are newer to the sport.

Kings Moss Cycling Club Chairman Stephen Laird explained: "Although the excellent route we have put together will challenge the more experienced riders, we will make sure to look out for beginners too.

Dromara Coastal Leisure Cycle Sunday 8th May

dromOn Sunday 8th May Dromara CC will host their annual Coastal Challenge Charity Cycle. This is always eagerly looked forward to by cyclists as it promises to be a great day out. There are two distances on offer, namely a 60 mile route and an 80 mile route,  so there should be something to suit all abilities. ChallengeHer Launched at the Moy

bSquare Wheels Cycle Club launches their annual ChallengeHer Cycle Sportive outside Tomney’s Moy Village for what promises to be a fun day of exercise, achievement, camaraderie and reward on Sunday 22nd May. All proceeds from the event will support Habitat for Humanity’s work, building strong communities in Northern Ireland and in Cambodia. 

Fancea McNally, Finance and Business Manager at Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland explained the importance of this fundraising,We so much appreciate the support of ChallengeHer Cycle. Lions 8 Leisure Tour Cancelled

Please Note: Lions 8 Sportive on the 1st May Cancelled.
The popular Lions 8 Sportive promoted by East Tyone Cycling Club for the Lions Club in Cookstown has been cancelled. The event was due to take place on next Sunday 1st May. The decision to cancel was made by the committee of the Lions club and not East Tyrone CC, East Tyrone would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.… Read more

Leisure Events This Weekend Updated

Saturday 23rd April Phoenix CC Sportive Postponed
Due to circumstances beyond their control the Big Italian Fundraiser as listed in the calendar for Saturday has been postponed. The new date for this event is Sunday 21st August. Once again Phoenix CC will be raising funds for the Friends of the Cancer Centre. Please put this date in your diary and encourage friends and fellow cyclists to participate. Phoenix CC apologise for any inconvenience caused by the postponement.

Entry Open for Omagh’s Alzheimers Charity Cycle

The hard working Omagh Wheelers never rest on their laurels and this year they are hosting a very important cycle  for the Alzheimers Society for Northern Ireland  on the 15th May 2016. Mary Peters Supports SMCC Charity Cycle

aSMCC Lisburn hosted their charity cycle n Sunday which attracted riders from all over Ulster. The event was supported but Lisburn City Council and was to raise money for The Parkview Special School in Lisburn and the Dame Mary Peters Trust in Belfast. Dame Mary came along to get the event off to a good start and everyone was delighted to see her taking time out from her busy schedule to wave the riders off.
