Dowling wins at the Noel Teggart race

Mark Dowling (DID Dunboyne) added another Irish Classic to his growing list when he won the Noel Teggart Memorial in Banbridge on Sunday 26 July 2015. He crossed the finish line, 1’ 36” ahead of runner up Lindsay Watson (Plush MTB) who was also on his own. Donegal Bay Youth Race (Round 5 of North West Youth League)

Donegal Bay CC hosted the penultimate round of the North West Youth League and were rewarded with a beautiful day for some great Youth cycling, with every position being fiercely contested. Pre-registration for Banbridge CC’s Banbridge Crit and Noel Teggart Memorial promotions, due to take place this Friday (24th) evening and Sunday (26th) afternoon respectively have now closed. With places still available in the main SEAT Super Seven race for A1/2/3/J riders entry will be accepted on the night at a cost of £15. Whilst the dust has barely settled on the Irish National Championships, Omagh Wheelers CC are gearing up again for the 2015 SPAR Tour of Omagh, which will take place from 7-9th August. David Watson (North Down CC) was the impressive winner of the Foyle Grand Prix in Killea Co Donegal (19 July 2015). Watson was the strongest of a four man breakaway that had raced ahead on the first of six 11.4 mile circuitS.
